The Plateau Pluckers Ukulele Band, based in Crossville, Tennessee, is comprised of musicians who love to have fun and make music on the ukulele. Some of us are new to the ukulele but we also have members who have played for several years (either the ukulele or guitar), are former or current members in other bands, or have taught music. But the band is not limited to just ukuleles. Other member instruments include violin, harmonica, flute, guitar, and bass.

While the mention of a ukulele conjures up visions of Hawaii, the Plateau Pluckers' motto is "Not just Hawaiian Music". During performances, music from a wide variety of genres is played. But that doesn't mean the band doesn't play any Hawaiian music. We're always learning new songs in different genres and styles and love the challenges!
